KARMA SUTRA
The electric Fisker Karma

AUTO REVIEW—Behind me, right across the shopping center parking lot, a teen flipping pies at the local Dominos Pizza is shouting “Hot ass car!” like his pants are on fire. Considering he’s bolting outside of the store to tell me his thoughts on the Fisker Karma, I’m pretty sure that it’s the pizza that’s burning, not his jeans.

TEAM OF RIVALS – PART 2
2013 Detroit Auto Show

AUTO SHOW—They are the fiercest of rivals, but for a couple of weeks in the dead of winter, the car companies get together to put on the greatest show in the western hemisphere. Known as the North American International Auto Show, or more affectionately as the Detroit auto show. FORD INTRODUCES THE ATLAS
The art of trucking at the Detroit show

GALLERY—While Chevy unveiled its new Corvette Stingray and Cadillac dealt an electric card in the form of the ELR, Ford’s major debut at the Detroit auto show wasn’t even a production vehicle. The Ford Atlas Concept looks like it can be the next F-Series. That’s because it probably is the next F-Series.

CADDY ON THE CUTTING EDGE
Cadillac unveils its electric ELR

GALLERY—Even before the introduction of the Chevy Volt, a number of automotive pundits had been saying the car should be a Cadillac. Better late than never. At the Detroit Auto Show, Cadillac introduced its version of the extended range electric car, the ELR. It’s the latest expression of Cadillac’s Art Science school of design—and its edgy styling seems particularly well-suited for the car’s Tomorrow Land technology.
