Petersen Museum showcases the best of Italy

Pictures by Zoran Segina GALLERY—Running through February 3, 2013, the Petersen Museum presents “Sculpture in Motion: Masterpieces of Italian Design.” The exhibit explores the many ways in which Italian coachbuilders and manufacturers have contributed to the evolution of the automobile—from a collection of disorganized parts, to a single, visually appealing unit. The country that gave the world Michelangelo and Botticelli also gave it the designers responsible for the exotic and inspired automobiles we have now come to expect from Italy. Editor-at-Large Zoran Segina attended the media preview and captured the sculptures in single-lens reflex splendor.
