If you've driven anywhere in Southern California, you know the BMW marque is more than just popular. With California being car culture ground zero, it is not surprising to see one of the biggest shows in the country for BMWs to be hosted here.
BimmerFest 2016 was held at AAA Auto Club Speedway in Fontana for 2016 on May 28th and 29th. The event has grown year-after-year, with people coming from near and far to see these German masterpieces on display. The biggest draw always comes from the aftermarket vendors and show cars who modify the Ultimate Driving Machine to a unique form of automotive performance and art. The automotive aftermarket has always been a staple of car culture and it is good to see both enthusiasts and casual attendees support such events.
With over a claimed 10,000 attendees and 4,000 cars, there was something for everyone to enjoy. From the track event where participants could take their ultimate driving machines on the Roval Circuit, to the car show where individuals displayed their unique Bimmers for all to enjoy. The show really had everything.
If you missed the event this year and are a BMW fan you should definitely make plans to attend next years event which we can only imagine to be even bigger and better.
