It’s one thing to have a hot rod and custom car show. It’s quite another when the backdrop matches the time period of the cars on display. That’s exactly what happens every year at the Hot Rod & Custom Charity Car Show on Myrtle Avenue in Old Town Monrovia, California. The Myrtle Avenue strip in Old Town Monrovia is like a time warp from the 1940s and 50s. It’s the perfect venue for a hot rod show, and that’s why Street Rods Forever picked it once again for the 29th annual show. LA Car was there to soak in the September shine.
