As we all know, the family-transport market is chock-full of options. Minivans seem to be fading into the past, while third-row SUVs have taken the world by storm. Manufacturers must keep their offered models up to date, and the Traverse is no exception. Chevy has bestowed an attractive design refreshment on their 2021 model, with updated lighting and new wheels to choose from.

“The new Chevrolet Tahoe/Suburban has received an overwhelmingly positive response from consumers,” said Holt Ware, director of Chevrolet exteriors, crossovers and cars. “The new design of the 2021 Traverse gains this new commanding appearance and presence we know Traverse owners will appreciate.”

On the exterior, the 2021 Traverse is the recipient of an updated grill, sportier front and rear fascias, and new signature LED headlamps and taillamps. The more aggressive styling definitely shows a trend being used by Chevrolet across their model line. The new headlights also boast new turn signal indicators integrated into the daytime running lamps. Four new wheel designs are also available.

Inside, the 2021 Traverse advertises best-in-class cargo space. All-new seating options are available and USB ports are located in all rows. On the ceiling, an optional Dual Skyscape® 2-panel power sunroof with new rear powershade can help your passengers study the stars. A new available 8-inch diagonal driver information center provides the driver with data easily.

Safety is obviously very important for any family vehicle, and Chevy has delivered. A solid collection of standard safety features includes Automatic Emergency Braking, Front Pedestrian Braking, Lane Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning, Forward Collision Alert, IntelliBeam Automatic High Beams and Following Distance Indicator.

“With this refreshed Traverse, Chevy will have one of the freshest SUV lineups in the market,” said Steve Majoros, vice president of Chevrolet Marketing. “But it’s more than just looks. Traverse already offers a long list of safety features and will now offer more standard safety features across all trims, in addition to the functionality and style Traverse owners have come to appreciate.”

Look for the 2021 Chevrolet Traverse to be on sale in late 2020.
