It’s one thing to have a hot rod and custom car show. It’s quite another when the backdrop matches the time period of the cars on display. That’s exactly what happens every year at the Hot Rod & Custom Charity Car Show in Old Town Monrovia, California. The entire downtown area of Monrovia looks like it’s in a time warp from the 1950s. It's the perfect venue for a hot rod show, and that’s why Street Rods Forever picked it for the 22nd annual show. LA Car was there to soak in the September shine.
