February of 1973 spawned KPFK’s “The Car Show”, which became the longest-running automotive show on the airwaves. On Saturday, February 16th, the show celebrated its 40th year on the air. Current Car Show hosts Art Gould and Dave Kunz reflect back on the John Retsek-Jack Kirkpatrick era, the John Retsek-Len Frank years, and then the John Retsek-Art Gould years. The show airs every Saturday at 1:00 p.m., at 90.7 on your So Cal FM dial. To stream the anniversary show, see below.
