The car is practically brand new, but the festival devoted to it is already an institution. We’re talking about 86FEST, the car show devoted to the trio of Hachi-Roku cars—the 1980s Toyota Corolla AE86 and its current-day successors, the new Scion FR-S and Subaru BRZ, both of which were code named the FT86 prior to production. All three have stellar reputations in drifting circles. All three are rear-wheel drive. And all three were well-represented at the second 86FEST, held at Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, CA. The Dorman brothers were there to capture the moment.
