The "Stars & Cars" event will
have an exhibit of elegant cars owned by top celebrities. Among the stars
expected to attend the event are Jay Leno and Nicholas Cage, as well as Kevin
Dillon from the popular TV series "Entourage". Featured automobiles will include
European classics such as Bentley, Rolls-Royce, Aston Martin, Jaguar and
Mercedes, as well as American classics such as Packard, Auburn, Cadillac and
Corvette.
Guests will be treated to gourmet food, fine wine and vodka martinis named after
cars. There will be a silent and live auction offering travel packages and
sports memorabilia, with proceeds benefitting such worthwhile charities as
Millennium Promise, Spread the Net, and Keep A Child Alive. The event will also
feature a fashion show by the Janice Dickenson Modeling Agency, and singer Shani
Rigsbee will be on hand for a live performance of her song "El Llamar de Pasion"
from the Academy Award winning film "Crash".
