Top-Flite classic car owners from all over Southern California and beyond are breaking out the polish and wax in anticipation of the Seventh Annual San Marino Motor Classic: Design in Motion. More than 300 mint condition classic and collector cars spanning over a century will be available for public view at this concours-level event on Sunday, June 11th at Lacy Park located at 1485 Virginia Road in San Marino. Gates open at 9 a.m. PDT.
The 2017 show features a broad spectrum of collector cars from Brass and Nickel Era cars to American Muscle cars, Hot Rods and everything in between. Staples such as Ferrari, Porsche and Mercedes-Benz will be showcased alongside Jaguar, Alfa Romeo and Rolls-Royce.
The San Marino Motor Classic is the successor to the Los Angeles Concours d’Elegance. Car enthusiast and ABC 7’s Automotive Specialist Dave Kunz and racing royalty Ed Justice, Jr. return as emcees this year. Proceeds from this year’s show will benefit the Pasadena Humane Society & SPCA and the Rotary Club of San Marino. Since its inception in 2010, the car show has raised over $1 million for local charities.
