On Sunday, July 22nd the Petersen’s monthly “Cruise-in” featured all manner of Japanese (USDM + JDM for those cool kids in the know) cars, drawing fans from throughout Southern California. It’s only appropriate that the epicenter (IMHO) of import car culture is at the heart of the exploding appreciation and market values for Japanese classic cars. The incredible weather, countless enthusiasts, and events such as TORC, JCCS, and now the Petersen’s annual Japanese-themed cruise-in are fueling the popularity of these beloved cars.
