“Each year, the gala provides significant funding for the Petersen Automotive Museum’s various programs from education of our guests to preservation of our collection,” said Petersen Automotive Museum Executive Director Terry L. Karges. “Although the gala looks different this year, the support is more critical than ever. By supporting the Petersen Automotive Museum’s gala, guests are ensuring that we can continue to educate youth, engage with the community, and preserve car culture for future generations.”

The 1961 MGA Outlaw featured in these photos is the first frame-off restoration completed entirely by the Petersen Museum. The flawless Outlaw features larger carbs, a hot cam, disc brakes, new suspension components, and a modern Oxblood interior. Tasteful wire wheels set off the exterior appearance.
