“If you think Jaguars, Bentleys, and Maseratis dominate the roads of America’s richest cities, think again,” says Shadee Malekafzli of TrueCar. That’s because the company just completed a study that examined the car buying preferences of residents in the 10 wealthiest zip codes in the United States. Mercedes topped the list in more than one neighborhood, but two affluent cities purchased the Toyota Prius more than any other vehicle. There are other surprises as well in the study.
