HOT WIRE—Looking for a hot deal on a low mileage Lambo? The Washoe County Sherriff’s Office has one. On April 13th it’ll auction off a black 2006 Lamborghini Gallardo with 12,000 miles. Carfax won’ reveal it, but the car does have a bit of a storied past. This particular Lamborghini was evidently owned by a convicted drug trafficker. According to the Reno Gazette-Journal, proceeds from the sale will be distributed among the agencies involved in bringing the case to closure—i.e., the Reno Police Department, Washoe County Sheriff’s Office, Nevada Highway Patrol and the local district attorney’s office. The Gallardo that is the subject of the sale can be viewed here.
