Pictures by Roy Nakano GALLERY—Every year for 28 years, Fords from all over the country (and a few out of the country) have been convening on Knotts Berry Farm. It actually started as a Mustang Jamboree, to commemorate the 20 year anniversary of that model. Since 1986, the event is called Fabulous Fords Forever, and is still held right about the time that the original 1964-1/2 Mustang was introduced at the New York World’s Fair.
The Fab Ford event is put together by the Ford Fan Club Advisory Council, which is comprised of over 40 Ford car clubs. This year’s event attracted over 2,100 cars, and remains the largest gathering of Fords in the west. Next year’s event promises to be even bigger, given that it marks the 50th anniversary of the Mustang. You can bet we’ll be there!
