Someone Created A Stop Motion Animation Entirely In Forza Horizon 4 Paint Mode

In Forza Horizon 4, creating a great custom livery is difficult; Creating a full-fledged stop motion animation within the editor? That takes a master Forza artist.

These artists can literally take a collection of simple shapes and turn them into incredible works of art.

Even for talented Forza painters, creating such images is not easy and can be extremely time consuming.

That is why I am blown away by what Forza painter Elliot Poulter AKA “PTG FOX” recently accomplished.

Elliot created a stop-motion animation completely within Forza Horizon 4’s paint booth! He used the screenshot feature on his Xbox to capture each frame of the animation. If that sounds like a massive feat to take on you would be absolutely correct.

According to Elliot it took him 90 days working for 8 hours a day (720 hours total), 656 xbox screenshots, and 43,000 layers within the paint mode to make the animation which runs at 10 frames per second.

The craziest part is that the animation is of a Lego-style character spray painting on the side of a car. Yes, a Forza painter, painted an animation, of a character painted. Let that sink in…

Anyway that’s enough talking from me. Scroll below and check out the quick animation for yourself.
