The Mullin Automotive Museum has some of the most beautiful classic cars on the planet. Now, you can pair some of them with a fine wine.

When you think about it, wine inspired by automobiles is kind of a perfect match. Three years ago Peter Mullin (founder and CEO of the Mullin Automotive Museum) had the same idea so he did exactly that.

His new venture Mullin Estate Wines has just launched with three red wines. Each wine is inspired by a bespoke French automobile in the Mullin collection. Classy huh?

Despite each wine being inspired by French vehicles, the wine was actually produced at the Doglio vineyard in Italy.

That’s for the future to know. Anyhow the three wines available now are the following:

2016 Rosso Umbria IGT

The Rosso Umbria IGT is the “youngest” of the three wines. It’s inspired by the 1930 Bugatti Type 46 Cabriolet which is the Mrs Mullin’s favorite car.

2016 Syrah Umbria IGT

The Syrah Umbria IGT takes its inspiration from the 1937 Talbot-Lago Type 150-C-S “Teardrop.” Mullin Estate Wines describes it as “elegant, serious, and powerful.” So, maybe half a glass will do here.

2016 Sangiovese Umbria IGT

The 1936 Bugatti Type 57SC Atlantic serves as the inspiration for the Sangiovese Umbria IGT. This wine combines flavors of plum, spices, dark chocolate, and tobacco. Which is an interesting combination.

If any (or all) of these particular wines pique your interest, you can get more information at MullinEstateWines.it
